Painted Collage Portraits

Inspired by the children's book author and illustrator, Eric Carle, these hand painted collage pieces are full of bright colors and textures capture your pet's expression and character. 

The process for making these starts with painting the paper for the collage. I try to use lots of textures to make the pieces stand out from each other when layered. Then I cut and glue down the paper to create the portrait collage! The portraits are pressed overnight to flatten them.

Sizes available are 9x12in for portraits with limited props (your pet's favorite toy, food, or accessory). 11x14in portraits can feature backgrounds like flowers, fruit bushes, trees, picnic, etc). For FULL backgrounds (landscapes, night skies etc), please contact me directly so we can discuss your idea and make sure it's feasible.
